Online travel agency Loveholidays has announced a new partnership with with XML Travelgate that will allow it to offer product from a more diverse group of accommodation suppliers.
Located in Palma, XML Travelgate launched its TravelgateX platform earlier this year providing access to a large network using a single online integration.
Its HotelX API is designed specifically for online hotel connections from the initial mapping to the complete content of a hotel through dynamic prices, intelligent caching and unlimited data sources.
Unlike other online integration platforms, HotelX uses the more advanced GraphQL rather than XML.
Jonny Marsh, chief operating officer of Loveholidays, said: “We started working with the team at XML Travelgate earlier this year to help us connect to a wider group of suppliers that we don’t have the scale to do with our own internal development team.
“Partnering with XML Travelgate’s technology enables us to offer an even more diverse portfolio of properties to our customers in a cost effective, quick and efficient way.”
Chief executive and founder of TravelgateX Pedro Brücher Camara added: “We want to continue innovating and working to allow companies to transform the way they market, sell and operate.
“We provide the technological infrastructure and marketing know-how to help them take advantage of the power of the network and interact with other companies in a simple, effective and scalable way.”
