Vistara announces Travelport distribution agreement

Start-up Indian carrier Vistara is to distribute all its fares through Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform.

Start-up Indian carrier Vistara is to distribute all its fares through Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform.

The distribution and merchandising agreement will see the airline, a joint venture between Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons, sell via Travelport-connected agents worldwide.

Agents will be able to search, compare, and book Vistara fares and ancillary services via their existing desktop workflow.

Vistara will also participate in Travelport’s suite of airline merchandising solutions via its Merchandising Platform.

It will become the 85th carrier to use Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding technology to establish and increase its brand presence across the globe.
