Spain’s leading TMC signs up to Amadeus’ expense management system

Spain’s leading travel management company, Viajes El Corte Inglés, is to offer Amadeus’ flagship corporate solution to its customers worldwide.

Viajes El Corte Inglés has signed a global reseller agreement for Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense, a fully-integrated online booking tool and expense management system.

Corporate travellers will be able to manage their travel expenses while complying with their corporate policy.

The system is designed to help business travellers save the time and hassle of claiming expenses. They can scan and upload receipts directly to the mobile app while costs such as flights and hotels can be settled before the trip.

It is also there to help corporations keep on top of corporate travel policy.

Viajes El Corte Inglés is the first travel management company in Spain to sign up to use the system.

Rajiv Rajian, global head of business travel at Amadeus, said: “The shifting nature of business travel requires corporations to adapt to a world which is less command and control and more dynamic and agile. At the same time, they are focused on cost-effective ways of delivering on their travel and expense requirements. This agreement empowers hundreds of businesses across Viajes El Corte Inglés’ footprint to benefit from greater visibility into how travel is being managed, and equips travellers with the tools to make their trips simple, stress-free and rewarding.”
