A major upgrade to the Ryanair Rooms website has been revealed.

A wider choice of hotel, hostel, B&B, holiday villa and homestay options is being promised.

London West End shows have been added to the Ryanair.com site, with more events and attractions to be added in the coming months.

Users logging in through the MyRyanair customer registration platform can access a personalised website experience, displaying preferred and most recently searched routes as well as recommended products and services.

This comes as part of the first phase of an extensive personalisation upgrade, with tailored special offers to follow.

The budget carrier has also opened a dedicated Chinese website, its 19th foreign language site.

The latest digital developments are in addition to Apple Pay integration, connecting flights and long haul Air Europa flights available via the site.

Chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs told the Web Summit in Lisbon: “We are pleased to launch these latest digital initiatives under year four of our ‘Always Getting Better’ programme.

“Our improved Ryanair Rooms site, new Chinese website, personalised website and Ryanair Tickets are the latest steps on our journey to becoming the ‘Amazon of Travel’, and with these new digital initiatives, we’re continuing to improve all aspects of the Ryanair experience for our 129 million customers.

“While we continue to innovate, the one thing that won’t change will be our low fares, and customers will continue to enjoy the biggest and best choice of destinations, with the most on-time flights and a fantastic onboard experience.”
