TravelConnect has become the latest online travel guide to add user reviews to run alongside its editorial content.
The site previously had a comments section for travellers to add their own advice and tips for fellow users, but TravelConnect has since integrated the facility across each review.
The reviews are also categorised into different areas including hotels, resorts, city break destinations and B&Bs.
The UTarget Media-owned site, which started life as a weekly travel deals newsletter in September 2006, is expected to launch video guides and a user blog area in early-2008.
TravelConnect editor Dale Lovell said: “After launching our comments tabs at the foot of each feature in March we soon noticed that users were using these as a way to write in with their own travel reviews. User interest is so strong in this area that we felt compelled to add this to the website.”
