Loganair has secured relationships with three GDS booking platforms following its latest agreement with Travelport.

The Scottish regional carrier has also developed commercial arrangements with Sabre and Amadeus.

Loganair recently signed a codeshare arrangement with British Airways and is set to end its franchise arrangement with Flybe.

This will enable it to fly under the Loganair brand from September 1.

The distribution agreements between the three GDS suppliers means agents using Travelport, Amadeus and Sabre will gain numeric availability, where the actual number of bookable seats on busy flights is clearly displayed.

The airline’s commercial director Kay Ryan said: “We’re now up and running with three GDS booking-systems significantly strengthening our relationships with agents as we prepare to fly solo.”
