Virtual card technology specialist Conferma has forged a strategic partnership with travel and expense management firm Concur.

The agreement will integrate of Conferma’s virtual payment solution into Concur’s travel and expense platform.

The Concur Conferma end-to-end arrangement will automatically deliver card details to hotels securely and electronically.

Travel managers will gain the ability to increase flexible controls on travel policy and streamline budgeting, accounting and reconciliation, according to the two firms.

Business travellers booking through Concur Travel will be able to pay using a virtual card integrated invisibly at the point of sale.

This offering will be available across the global Concur platform and Conferma’s worldwide network of banking partners.

Conferma chief executive, Simon Barker, said: “Concur’s customers can now benefit from the heightened levels of security and efficiency that the Conferma virtual card offering is able to provide.
