Search giant Google, which released its Trips app last year, has released three new features it says will help make travel easier to plan.
In a blog post, Google said it has now enabled travellers to share all the reservation details of the trip to friends and family ‘at the swipe of an arrow’ on smart phones. Recipients will receive all the travel details via email.
Another new feature is to use the + button to update itineraries and add new details. Users can manually enter details or add reservation numbers.
Google has also made it possible for Trips to store bus and train journeys in the same place as flight, hotel, car hire and restaurant reservations.
