Snaptrip makes appointment for new head of content role

Last-minute cottage holiday hub Snaptrip.com has recruited Alex Sparasci in the newly-created role of head of content.

He joins after working across multiple Tui brand since 2009, including Crystal Ski, Hayes and Jarvis, Sovereign, Citalia and Sunsail UK.

He will be responsible for growing social media following, boosting search visibility and ensuring that customers find the right content at the right time.

Sparasci said: “Snaptrip has a great energy and pace, and I’m delighted to be part of an enthusiastic team where new ideas are quickly recognised and put into place.

“The potential to create great content in a business like this, and in such a thriving industry, is huge.”

Chief executive and co-founder, Matt Fox, added: “Alex has a fantastic career history, working for several major players and on some significant website redesign projects, so we’re delighted to have him on board.

“We want customers to come to us when they first start their search for a staycation – not just for a great last-minute deal, but for travel advice and tips on where to go.

“Alex has the experience and passion to help us do this, and we’re really excited to see our content develop over the next year.”
