Travellers whose trips are booked through the Worldspan global distribution system can now check-in online and print their boarding pass.

Clients of Worldspan subscribers can receive an e-mail 24 hours in advance of their flight times, advising whether they can check in via the Internet and print a boarding pass.

Check-in is completed by clicking the link provided in the e-mail, or via a link in the traveller’s personalized itinerary display, located on Worldspan’s My Trip and More web site.

Once an itinerary is booked in Worldspan, the traveller receives an e-mail and link to the My Trip and More site, where the personalized itinerary is graphically displayed, including all air, car rental and hotel segments. Travellers can download and print and email itineraries.

The site is accessible 24 hours a day to confirm itinerary details and obtain revised itineraries. Travellers can also access local weather reports and find restaurants and other destination information.

The feature is available to all travellers whose itineraries are booked by Worldspan’s travel agency, and corporate and e-commerce customers who use the My Trip and More Web site.

Worldspan’s launch airline partner is Midwest Airlines, which serves US states. The GDS expects to add more carriers in the coming months.
