Holiday comparison site icelolly.com has introduced a new ‘Top Deals’ tab on its homepage off the back of a strong Black Friday trading period.

Featuring a selection of handpicked holiday offers, the price comparison website hopes the section will boost year-on-year growth and drive new advertising prospects.

The deals include extras such as free guided tours or room upgrades, and include offers exclusive to icelolly.com.

Icelolly says quantity is important as a price comparison site, and said the move would mean they offer a “more selective range”. The company also plans to expand its cruise offering into fly, cruise and stay deals.

Claire Willoughby, partnerships and operations director at icelolly.com, said: “The success of our Black Friday campaign and a subsequent strong fourth quarter highlighted the potential of having a selection of bespoke deals to supplement our traditional offering.

“This launch has allowed us to expand many of our commercial relationships with existing advertisers, as well as attracting new travel brands to advertise on the platform.

“We aim to handpick the very best deals to traditional European beach destinations, as well as widening our focus to include more inspirational long haul resorts. We look forward to expanding this offering further in the coming months as we strive to provide the best service to our customers.”
