Travel comparison site GoEuro has announced the appointment of three new vice presidents as it looks to build its global presence.

Alexandra Oakley joins as  VP of human resources, David Price as VP of product and Filippo Bonsanti as VP of marketing.

Oakley, who has an Msc in management from London Business School, has worked for global technology companies such as Skype, Expedia, Orange and Photobox.

She said “It’s early in the GoEuro journey and I am very much looking forward to working with some truly amazing people in creating a world class organisation.”

Price has spent the last 17 years working in project and product management roles across a range of hardware, middleware, software and media companies. Prior to his appointment at GoEuro, Price was the project manager at BBC iPlayer in the UK and director of product at Spotify, where he worked across mobile, tablet and desktop.

The University of Warwick graduate said “I believe there is a massive opportunity to make booking travel much easier for everyone. I am excited to get to work on building a world class product and design team that creates a multi-mode transportation product that will become every traveller’s ‘must have’ travel app.”

Bonsanti has 15 years’ experience in traditional and digital marketing across e-commerce, FMCG, retail and media including leadership roles at Ebay and Bain & Co and has operated in over 20 countries such as the US, Russia, China and Brazil.

He said “I want to be part of the team who are creating a product that will hopefully become an essential go-to resource for travellers to Europe.”

GoEuro has 10 million monthly users and had a recent injection of $70 million in funding. It recently began offering travel agents commission for referrals.
