Independent agents are being targeted through an affiliate programme that offers commission for referrals to its rail, coach and air booking system.

GoEuro is encouraging agents to apply to be a partner by having in-store promotions and links on advert banners and websites in return for a commission when customers book their travel.

The firm says its booking system can also be used as a tool for agents to customise their clients’ travel on tailor-made holidays throughout Europe.

The Berlin-based start-up has more than 500 transport partners across Europe and can be used on desktop, mobile or via an app.

Naren Shaam, chief executive and founder of GoEuro, said: “The ethos behind GoEuro is to create a singular destination to compare and book multimode travel in Europe.

“The continent’s network of rail, coach and air travel is complex and difficult for travel agents and operators to have in depth knowledge of.

“The GoEuro affiliate programme will enable the travel industry to provide their customers with more travel opportunities, and perhaps even highlight new ways of seeing Europe.”
