Scott Chapman has been named as UK managing director of Egencia.

He replaces Graham Kingsmill, who is now vice president of Europe at Egencia.

Chapman will oversee the strategic leadership of all commercial aspects at the business travel arm of Expedia in the UK.

His focus will be predominantly leading the team to drive sales and revenue performance, according to the company.

He has more than 10 years of travel management experience with senior roles at Egencia, Expotel and Expedia.

Kingsmill said: “Scott has been a long-standing employee at Egencia and we are thrilled he is part of the management team in the UK.

“His business development expertise in the corporate travel industry and history as a sales manager at Expedia and Egencia will be exceptionally valuable.”

Chapman added: “Egencia has a great track record in the industry and keeps innovating to bring solutions to the travel management industry.

“There has been a huge amount of growth over the past few years which we look to continue as we aim to double in size by 2020.

“I am excited to continue my journey at Egencia as UK managing director and I am looking forward to carrying on the great work that has been achieved to date.”
