Multicom plans to unveil enhancements to its virtual card payment system MultiCommerce, a year after making its debut at last year’s World Travel Market.
Further developments are due to be announced before the end of the year, as the software specialist pushes ahead with its aim of positioning MultiCommerce as the “premier choice” of virtual card payment solution.
Managing director, John Howell, said: “Ensuring MultiCommerce is positioned to maximise the opportunities that smart technology can provide for travel businesses is key to our future growth.
“We have been working on a range of developments to underpin our aim to be the number one choice of virtual card payment systems and building relationships with market leading card partners to ensure we can offer our customers the perfect solution to their needs.”
The system’s features include the option of using either single use credit cards or pre-paid cards and access to support of more than 25 currencies, reducing card surcharge fees and foreign exchange costs.
Monster Travel, Sunvil and Ski Weekends are among the companies using the system, with Multicom saying several leading new travel customers are in the pipeline.
