A comparison site that aims to give customers the cheapest price possible on holiday rental platforms has launched in the UK.

Palma de Mallorca-based Hundredrooms analyses upwards of 100 websites and more than seven million holiday rentals and is also expanding into Germany.

The start-up claims to save users as much as 30 to 40% on price and already operates in Spain, France and Italy.

Some of its main partners include online travel platforms such as Housetrip, Only-Apartments, Roomrama, and Migoa and has access to 20 million photos as well as information about each rental, such as WiFi access, whether they have instant booking or are pet friendly.

Founder and chief executive José Luis Martinez, said: “The apartments and holiday homes sector is experiencing the greatest demand for online travel.

“We believe there is a unique opportunity for our product in the current market. Our main focus is to grow globally and reach millions of consumers through a product that, with one single search, allows users to find all the holiday rentals offers available. We are very satisfied with how the company is growing and we have very ambitious plans for the future.”

Founded in 2014, the company received €1 million in investment a year later and last year secured a further €4.1 million from Seaya Capital Ventures

Its 60 staff include 40 engineers and product managers. Hundredrooms is looking for native talent from both Germany and the UK, as it continues with its expansion plans.
