to enhance agent product

A company which enables operators to display their brochures online is closing in on a strategic partnership that will see it ramp up its technology. confirmed it was in advanced talks with a technology supplier in a deal the company claimed will transport the operation to an “entirely new plane”.

Details remained sketchy but the enhanced site is expected to make it easier for agents and customers to flip through brochures online, search for product and download pages.

A closer relationship with tour operators is also expected with direct links to operator websites tipped to be among the developments.

Managing director Paul Green said: “We are concluding discussion with a third party that will elevate OTB to an entirely new plane.

“It will involve the immediate introduction of tour operators and advanced technology that will make the site even more attractive for travel agents.”

He declined to expand on the enhancements.

More details will be released in the next two weeks, a spokesman added.

Onlinetravelbrochures contains product from almost 70 operators. Royal Caribbean, Style Holidays, Gold Medal Holidays, Keycamp and Celebrity Cruises are among the most recent companies to put their brochures on the website.
