Advantage Focus Partnership makes mobile solution available to members

Advantage Focus Partnership has made Mobitinerary – a mobile travel solution developed by Dutch firm Sound of Data – available to its members.

This enables agents to provide their business travel clients with updated travel information covering hotel reservations, transfers and flights throughout their entire trip.

With its new mobile travel solution, Advantage Business Travel is offering its Focus Partnership members a new way to provide service on the go.

Steve Murray, head of Focus Operations at Advantage Business Travel, said: “For travel management companies, the best way to engage travellers and to provide them with service while they’re travelling is via their smartphone.

“Sound of Data’s Mobitinerary service allows us to do that as it is available on all mobile platforms and is easy to use – both key criteria when choosing a provider.

“Eleven TMCs have already introduced the Mobitinerary service and ultimately 72 Focus members will be implementing it, so they can all provide extra service to their clients.’

Sound of Data chief executive Jeroen van Velzen added: “We’re really proud about our large-scale Mobitinerary service rollout in the UK.

“We aim to help TMCs provide extra service at each stage of their clients’ trip by making this mobile travel solution available to them.

“Advantage Business Travel has the same goal. By providing travellers with travel information via their smartphone, TMCs can keep in touch and provide them with relevant, up-to-date, personalised information before, during, and after their trip.”
