Sabre Travel Network has struck a deal to provide web services technology to online agency luxtripper.co.uk.

The London-based firm, whose website went live in Septembers, offers 35,000 four and five star holiday hotels handpicked for their positive online reviews.

The deal with Sabre means Luxtripper can access all of the technology giant’s online content and its web services via its Traveltek-powered booking engine.

Nena Chaletzos, chief executive of luxtripper, said: “As the business grows, it’s vital our operations are built and supported by the best possible technology.

“The web-services technology will enhance our processes and ensure we are driving the business in the right direction. Likewise, access to Sabre’s online content will increase the quality of choice available for customers.”

Mark Murray, Sabre’s director of online sales in EMEA, said: “We are investing in significant resources to grow our online offering across the region.

“We work closely with OTAs like Luxtripper to provide them with the best possible online travel technology to support their growth targets.”

Sabre said Luxtripper is one of more than a dozen European OTAs to have signed technology deals with it in the last six months.
