Oman Air renews Sabre tech deal

A reservations technology deal has been renewed between Oman Air and Sabre Airline Solutions.

The multi-year agreement extends an established partnership for the technology driving the airline’s growth and improvements across all its customer-focused operations.

The Gulf carrier’s chief executive Wayne Pearce said: “It is important to work with the right technology partners in such a competitive marketplace.

“Sabre’s stable and well-proven reservations technology means we provide a trouble-free travel experience to our passengers.

“The technology provides significant value and return on investment, and in turn gives us the flexibility to offer a widening array of other value-added services to our customers.”

Sabre Airline Solutions Middle East and Africa vice president Maher Koubaa said: “Oman Air’s appetite for technology gives them a competitive edge in the market and allows them to explore new revenue opportunities and experiment with new products for customers.”
