Software solutions company Anite has clinched a technology deal with Thomas Cook.

The multi-year deal will see the firm’s @com reservations system implemented at Cook’s UK mainstream division.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, allowed Anite to forecast that its overall group profits for the current financial year to come in at the “top end” of the range of market expectations.

Anite’s travel division is expected to end the financial year on April 30 with an order backlog worth more than £85 million compared to under £70 million at the end of October 2011.

The technology company’s chief executive Christopher Humphrey said:?”We are delighted to have signed this important contract.

“Our travel product, @com, is the only proven large scale reservation system on the market today and is currently used by an increasing number of leading international leisure travel companies.”
