Senior travel recruitment specialist Gail Kenny Group has moved to new central London offices on the back of rapid growth in 2009/10.

Senior travel recruitment specialist Gail Kenny Group has moved to new central London offices on the back of rapid growth in 2009/10.

The move to London signals the start of expansion for the formerly Greenwich-based firm.

The mainstream recruitment team is headed up by Jayne Peirce, with the goal to double the size of the team by the end of 2011.

This will be partly achieved by continuing to focus on the online sector and expanding dedicated online recruitment brand puregenie.com into new sectors such as gaming and financial services.

Founder Gail Kenny said: “The London office was a must for us.

“We have grown more quickly than we anticipated but this shows that there is very much a demand for consultative recruitment solutions at a senior level here and as a team, we’re very excited about delivering this.”

The group, launched in 2004, has established itself as a leading recruitment partner in the senior travel appointment arena across sectors such as sales, marketing/ecommerce, pricing, product and commercial, HR, IT and finance.

Clients include Virgin Holidays, Expedia, Travelzoo, TripAdvisor, Lowcostholidays, Opodo, Travelsupermarket and Eurostar.

Retained search business headed by Ian Brooks grew by 20% last year, defying a wider industry trend. Brooks sees continued growth opportunities with the firm’s new presence in London.
