Russian domestic airline S7 has unveiled an iPhone application developed in conjunction with Dublin-based Mobile Travel Technologies.
The application is available in English, Russian and German and enables travellers to book flights, check-in online, select seats, access the airline’s frequent flyer programme as well as contact customer services via call back or e-mail.
The service also stores information from previous bookings so that travellers can quickly populate the screen with their information.
Any users who don’t wish to download the application from iTunes can access the same service via the iPhone mobile web browser.
S7 launched its first mobile web initiative with MTT in September. Both services use MTT’s m2plane technology.
