Travelport has expanded its long-term deal with travel management company ATPI.

The TMC will use Travelport’s Gailileo and Worldspan platforms to service its customers in 13 countries including the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, the USA, France and Norway.

The agreement includes the provision of technology and solutions to marine travel specialist Instone International, which was acquired by the ATPI Group in 2009.

Graham Ramsey, ATPI Group chief executive, said:  “We have a long standing, highly collaborative working relationship with the team at Travelport, who demonstrate strong insight and understanding of our business.  As we continue to grow internationally, we feel Travelport is a great partner to continue to support our business.”

Travelport is also providing technology that will assist ATPI to increase efficiency of its web-based databases, which includes customised training solutions.

Travelport senior vice president of global accounts Sandra McLeod added: “Travelport has developed a tailored business strategy for ATPI, to provide solutions that match their international growth strategy.  ATPI continues to grow exponentially despite the ongoing effects of the economic downturn. The partnership between our organisations illustrates our confidence in working together.”
