Amadeus UK’s commercial director Maria Whiteman is leaving the business next month. Whiteman joined the global GDS three years ago and was responsible for expanding the range of consulting and solutions services.

Amadeus UK’s commercial director Maria Whiteman is leaving the business next month.
Whiteman joined the global GDS three years ago and was responsible for expanding the range of consulting and solutions services.
She was previously chief executive of Directline Holidays and has also worked for Travel 2/Travel 4 and Hayes & Jarvis.
A spokeswoman from Amadeus confirmed her departure, stating: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Maria for her contribution to Amadeus and we wish her well for the future.”
Whiteman will be continuing in her current role until the end of April.
