Affiliate search boost for travel advertisers

AffiliateFuture has added a major new feature to its display options by including travel search functionality across its network of affiliates.

The system works by placing user search facilities for around 10 million holiday deals and hotel properties within the advertising creative on partner sites.

Merchants on the AffiliateFuture network, which include AirTours, Direct Holidays, MyTravel, Monarch Holidays, Jet2 Holidays, Olympic Holidays and XL Holidays, will be included on the programme.

Users will be able to enter date and location queries within the display creative before being sent to a dedicated page listing results by holiday or hotel supplier.

The host site will continue to earn commission on a cost-per-acquisition basis based on whether the user subsequently books a product.

AffiliateFuture head of travel marketing, Giles Parnwell, said: “Affiliates can now customise and host a search box which covers the world’s top holiday destinations and represents the UK’s leading travel companies.

“Participating affiliates will be presenting their consumers with the greatest possible choice of holidays and importantly will see a larger increase in conversions.

Earlier this week AffiliateFuture signed Thistle Hotels and Guoman Hotels brands as merchants to its network.

Meanwhile, AffiliateFuture’s meta search project,, is expected to be given a major boost in the coming months when the same technology used on the new display advertising search tool is added to the existing engine.
