EyeforTravel is seeking travel start-ups to enter its Innovation Awards which will be awarded this April.

The awards, which will take place at Travel Distribution Summit Europe, a two-day event on April 19 and 20, will begin with a bootcamp-style session.

Audience members will have the opportunity to quiz 10 travel entrepreneurs and potential investors including Clive Jacobs, chairman of Travel Weekly Group and founder of Holiday Autos, STA Travel founder Dick Porter and Jason Katz from Kings Capital.

The entrepreneurs will share their own mistakes and successes, and tips for success in seeking investment or an industry buy-in.

The morning sessions will be followed by the competition itself.

Adhering to stringent judging criteria, entrants will compete for a chance to pitch their innovation in front of the 400-strong summit.

Tim Gunstone, managing director for EyeforTravel, said: “EyeforTravel’s Start-up & Innovation Awards are an affordable way for travel start-ups and innovators to talk about what they are doing to a highly influential audience and get a foothold in the cut-throat online travel industry.”

The awards are open to all travel start-ups or existing companies that have launched a new innovative, “industry-shaking”, product or service.

Visit the event’s website for further details and to enter.

All entries must be received by April 10.
