Autocab agrees deal with FMS to expand reach of iGO Network in Europe

Partnership will give passengers access to 150,000 cars across more than 400 cities

Taxi technology company Autocab has announced a partnership with Austrian software provider FMS to expand the reach of its own iGo network across Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Benelux regions.

The partnership will give passengers access to 150,000 cars across more than 400 cities ranging from Gdansk, Malaga, Kiev and Lisbon.

The partners say travellers can now use their local taxi firm’s app to book a trip in Europe in areas covered by the network.

For the frequent UK business traveller to Germany, this agreement will serve beneficial as much of the area will be covered.

Through the network, travel management companies (TMCs) can give corporate customers access to German fleets from one point of access.

Autocab’s iGo allows private hire firms to share fares with other network partners, whenever their own fleet is unable to fulfil a customers’ needs.

With an expanding network, iGo already includes more than 50% of the private hire market, covering more than 90% of the country.”

“When they arrive in another city or country, they don’t need to worry about researching local firms – they can simply source a trip using a trusted firm that is partners with the iGo network.”
