Booking.com named as official partner for the UK’s Short Stay Show

Event highlights opportunities in high-growth sector and its disruption to wider travel industry

Global OTA Booking.com has been named as the official partners for the 2020 Short Stay Show, a leading event for the short stay hospitality and accommodation industry.

Now in its second year, the Short Stay Show is the only event in the UK that is dedicated to highlighting the opportunities in high-growth short stay industry and its disruption to the wider travel and hospitality market.

The London event takes place on March 12 and Booking.com will share insights from its global perspective and highlight solutions for alternative accommodation providers around the world.

With over six million listings in homes, apartments and unique places to stay, Booking.com has welcomed over 750 million guests in alternative accommodation since 2007.

Diane Lloyd, co-founder of the Short Stay Show, said: “We are over the moon to announce this partnership with Booking.com, not only does it cement the premium offering of the Short Stay Show but presents even more opportunity for those attending the show next year to learn from Booking.com’s two decades of experience in the industry and grow their offering to travellers.”

The shows is aimed at owners, managers, and investors of short stay accommodation who are looking to start up and scale up their rental businesses.

Lloyd added: “The short stay industry is the fastest-growing trend in the world of accommodation, hospitality, travel and tourism and to have one of the world’s largest travel brands championing our event is a huge step in encouraging face-to-face conversation on the opportunities available to all those looking to get ahead of this movement.”
