Before eBay Stickells spent eight-years at Expedia where he was based in the UK and the US. While in the US, he held a vice president marketing position while specialising in performance focused SEO and PPC campaigns.

He was also head of search and media at UK performance marketing agency Steak and held a marketing position at UK retailer Tesco.

Stickells said: “I’m excited to join loveholidays and work with them to further grow their dynamic online travel business.

“They have had rapid success to date and I’m looking forward to being part of their talented and driven team.”

Alex Francis, Love Holidays founder and chief executive officer, added: “We are delighted to welcome Neil to our loveholidays team.

“He is a first-class performance marketeer and brings a wealth of hugely relevant experience to our senior management team, particularly from his time at Expedia.”

Love Holidays launched in 2012 and is the fastest-growing OTA in the UK, now the fifth largest. The company offers short and long-haul destinations and currently serves 1.2 million passengers.
