Travel customer inspiration and retention platform Sujester has struck a deal for New Zealand travel agent House of Travel to use its technology.

A pilot of the start-up’s platform is due to go live with House of Travel, New Zealand’s largest travel agency chain with over 75 retail stores, in June.

The firm will use the platform with a small subset of their stores initially will roll out across its business if the pilot proves to be a success.

Tim Paulsen, House of Travel e-commerce director, said: “We see customer retention as vital for our business, and think that Sujester’s tool can be a great way to drive this.

“Their unique approach of curated content and smart technology will help our customers discover new and exciting experiences and plan their dream travel future, providing us valuable data for lifetime marketing.”

Sahil Shah, Sujester chief executive, added: “We’re hugely excited to work with a client of this size, and to roll out a highly customised version of our platform.

“We believe our platform will help House of Travel inspire customers more effectively, better capture their wider travel aspirations and ultimately lead to both increased customer lifetime value and growth via digital word of mouth”.
