Wendy White has been named as marketing vice president and member of the Egencia global leadership team.
White joins the Expedia business travel firm with more than 20 years of global experience, leading marketing technology teams at companies such as CenturyLink, Intel, Microsoft and Motorola.
Her appointment follows the three additional female appointments, including Mieke De Schepper as chief commercial officer, Verena Funke, as interim managing director Asia Pacific and Teresa Matheson, as managing director Australia.
President Rob Greyber said: “For Egencia to reach its aggressive growth goals, we need a world-class marketing organisation willing to make bold moves.
“We’re confident Wendy’s expertise will help us achieve this audacious goal.
“The passion and drive she exudes extend beyond her role, and we look forward to seeing her accelerate the path for the next generation of women entrepreneurs and business leaders within Egencia.”
White said: “I’m proud to join a company that has been recognised for its commitment to fostering women in the workplace.
“Within the global marketing organisation alone, the diversity across gender and cultural background places us in the best position to address complex problems, improve decision-making, drive forward innovation and ultimately set us up for success.”
