Travolution and Triptease have agreed an official media partnership for its series of Direct Booking Summits in 2018.
The London-based supplier of website conversion optimisation solutions to hotels has been running its summits for three years.
This year it has announced it is adding Asia Pacific to the programme with an event in Singapore planned for the first quarter of 2019.
The first Direct Booking Summit in 2018 will be held in Amsterdam on June 27-28 followed by Dallas on October 3-4.
Speakers lined up for the Amsterdam summit include Geoff Andrew, chief executive of WorldHotels, Joe Pettigrew, director of revenue maximization at Europe Hotels, and Patty de Gruiter, vice-president revenue and distribution at Europe Private Hotels Collection.
Charlie Osmond, founder and ‘Chief Tease’ at Triptease, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing the Direct Booking Summit back for its third year, and especially excited to launch the event in Asia-Pacific.
“We love putting these events on, and it was wonderful to hear all the positive feedback we received last year for our New York and Barcelona editions. We’re looking forward to taking the summit to Amsterdam, Dallas and Singapore.
“There are two key things we aim to do with the Direct Booking Summit. The first is to build a community of hoteliers striving for the same goal. The second is to deliver fascinating, useful content that our audience can take and put into practice at their hotel straight away.
“The summit covers a huge variety of topics, but a few that I’m personally excited for this year include CRM, personalisation and the rise of Google’s travel offering. The Direct Booking Summit is a labour of love for everyone at Triptease – we can’t wait to get started.”
Lee Hayhurst, editor of Travolution, said: “As a fellow UK travel technology brand that also has significant international reach, Travolution is delighted to be supporting Triptease’s series of upcoming events.
“This year our sister title in the Jacobs Media Group, The Caterer, is marking its 140th anniversary so we’ve got a very long and unrivalled heritage of providing business-critical information and insight to the hospitality sector.”
