A travel chatbot service via Facebook Messenger is being introduced by Teletext Holidays.
The tool is designed to assist customers in booking holidays by offering the latest trending deals and providing travel inspiration.
The multi-functional chatbot also broadens the reach of the travel service to 1.2 billion Facebook Messenger users.
It comes on the back of research revealing that more than 70% of all smartphone owners make use of instant messenger options such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Viber on a daily basis instead of downloading individual apps that take up memory space.
