Traveldoo appoints Sam Cande as UK country manager

The travel and expense arm of Expedia group has taken on the commercial head of London’s Business Travel Show and Travel Technology Europe.

Sam Cande becomes UK country manager for Traveldoo, moving from the position of group commercial director for Centaur Media.

She is also the founder of Level women, a voluntary movement to support and develop women in business travel.

Cande will be responsible for UK sales and operations reporting to chief executive, Stéphane Donders.

“We have ambitious plans for Traveldoo as we move into 2018 and the appointment of a UK country manager was key in ensuring we achieve our goals,” Donders said.

“I am delighted that Sam is joining us, she has an excellent sales record and will play a pivotal role in continuing to grow our UK business.

“Traveldoo has a strong recruitment objective for 2018 and this role is part of our overall global recruitment drive to fill over 40 vacancies, with many positions including project management, account management, support and sales.”
