Meliá refreshes B2B portal amid ongoing digitisation

A new online B2B portal has been introduced by Meliá Hotels International as part of an ongoing digitisation process.

MeliáPro, previously the company’s booking tool for travel agents, has been updated to provide online services for a variety of different B2B segments, including corporate travellers, meeting and event organisers, travel agencies and tour operators.

The Spanish company has also created a new website at meliapro.com that allows users flexible management and control of their professional activity.

Travel agents can make bookings for their clients through MeliáPro, allowing them to receive instant commissions as well as guaranteeing the best rate for their customers.

MeliáPro has already registered more than 100,000 agents and increased sales by more than 15% this year.

A MeliaPro Rewards loyalty programme offers exclusive discounts on trade partners’ personal bookings.

It also gives them the ability to earn and redeem points for stays and products and services through international brand partners.
