A redesigned consumer website with additional functionality is being introduced by self-catering specialist Novasol.

An improved search and booking facility is promised along with added filters such as number of bedrooms, bathrooms and star rating.

Results can be filtered on price and location along with facilities such as swimming pools, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning.

Users can now save a selection of their favourite properties and send them via email to their travel companions.

‘Trip Finder’ functionality offers a selection of self-catering holiday homes throughout Europe based on the user’s holiday preferences.

Novasol general manager Alex Stuart said: “Our new website will make it even easier for holidaymakers to plan and book their perfect self-catering holiday home.

“We offer more than 44,000 holiday apartments, villas and cottages in 29 countries across Europe and we are confident new and existing customers will find the new website more user friendly.”
