Sister travel technology firms Comtec and Eysys will officially merge at this year’s WTM under the new parent Inspiretec.
The Cardiff-based developer first introduced Inspiretec a year ago, but has been integrating its other divisions into the masterbrand.
The only other company in the group that will continue to be maintained as a standalone is Sequence, the design and front-end website development specialist.
Inspiretec has reported positive trading in the last 12 months with some significant client wins including Shearings Holidays and the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Simon Powell, founder of Comtec and chief executive of Inspiretec, said: “Since we invested heavily in bringing a number of companies into our organisation, our capabilities, experience and expertise has increased dramatically.
“On top of the back-end and reservations platform that Comtec is renowned for, we now have complex CRM and web personalisation product developed through our Eysys offering.
“Inspiretec will connect both aspects, and will be joined by specialist web design agency Sequence and Canadian travel loyalty specialist Incentriq, as we marry our offerings under one roof.”
Harvey Alexander, director of marketing at the Caravan and Motorhome club said: “We’re really happy to appoint Inspiretec as our partner.”
“We felt Inspiretec shared our vision and demonstrated the capacity for organisations like ours who are looking to achieve a step change in how they engage with their customers.”
Inspiretec will launch its Holistic intelligent online marketing product at this year’s WTM which use data to manage and optimise interactions and relationships with clients and potential clients.
Inspiring Travel Company was the first to go live with the new platform last month.
Inspiretec will deliver a keynote in WTM’s Travel Tech Theatre at 1.30pm on Monday November 7 about what personalisation in travel really means.
