Online booking technology provider Vibe Systems has achieved Level 1 compliance certification, after assessment by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

It is designed to “robustly safeguard” client and consumer payment data and enables travel companies to adhere to Iata regulations on complying with latest data security standards.

Vibe chief technical officer Matt Chapman said: ‘We are proud of the protection we put in place for our clients’ customers’ data, especially around payments.

To prove our commitment to data security, we chose to be audited by an independent PCI-approved Qualified Service Assessor against the PCI data security standards.”
