Iglu has overhauled its entire website in a bid to improve its online presence across all channels and devices.

It made the move following the successful redesign of its online ski section last year.

The new site has features to support browsers’ accessibility, digital convergence and increased multi-device presence.

After more than 50% of Iglu Ski’s two million annual users visited the website via mobile and tablets since the October redesign, Iglu took the step to launch a new responsive template.

This allows Iglu’s website to automatically adapt its display to fit devices of any size.

One of the website upgrades is the implementation of voice search, allowing customers with digital home assistants to ask questions to receive activated responses.

Iglu is also installing a series of tools to specify the meanings on the website to enhance the search capability.

Search engines will be able to differentiate between words and their meanings and therefore deliver a more relevant search result for the consumer.
