Philippine Airlines has launched a 360° virtual tour of its cabins for passengers to view before they book or board.

It shows the inside of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which will serve on its London-Manila route which begins on September 19.

Passengers can peruse the aircraft, zoom in and out and virtually walk from business to economy to check out the difference in seating before they buy their tickets.

It works on a similar basis to Google Maps, and shows the aircraft’s 42 business class seats and their flat beds with dividers and 18.4 inch screens as well as the 328 economy seats that have 11-inch screens and built-in USB ports.

Philippine Airlines will also take delivery of six new Airbus A350-900s over the next two years, one of which will serve the London route, as part of its modernisation drive.
