Travel technology specialist Vertical Systems has developed an advertising inventory management system aimed at airports and their partners that will be rolled out this autumn.
The launch represents a first venture into the media management sector for the Essex firm known for its travel industry back office reservation and sales systems.
The integrated advertising technology includes advert specification details, an automated booking facility, workflow process for the in-house team to allow step-by-step approval through to print and invoice generation for payment.
Vertical said the system will improve efficiencies for clients and their customers, introduce automation to streamline the process and reduce errors due to manual intervention.
It claimed the “state-of-the-art technology” will place media sales teams ahead of the game in terms of their advertising approach.
