Travelzoo has announced that its president, Europe, Richard Singer, has resigned.

Singer will leave the travel deals business on September 30.

He was appointed in January 2013, having been general manager of Telegraph Travel as part of the Telegraph Media Group.

Prior to joining the Telegraph Media Group in 2002, Singer worked for Bourne Leisure.

As Travelzoo president, Europe, Singer has responsibilities for commercial activities across the region.

Travelzoo is due to give an earnings update to Nasdaq on July 27, when chief executive and chairman Holger Bartel will set out the company’s plans for future growth.

A new website, live in the US, is due to be rolled out globally and the sale earlier this year of metasearch site Fly.com for $2.9 million is expected to have streamlined the services it offers.

Travelzoo established itself as a leading provider of curated travel deals with its weekly Top 20 email and has since expanded into hotel booking and mobile services.
