Two new websites are being unveiled this month by Abercrombie & Kent.

The new online platforms – abercrombiekent.co.uk and akvillas.com – aim to showcase the luxury operator’s global reach.

A&K UK managing director Kerry Golds said: “Our new platforms will allow us to build more flexible, dynamic and customer-centric solutions aimed at improving the customer experience throughout their A&K journey.

“Our goal is to inspire people to travel – expanding horizons, learning about different cultures, customs, people and places.

“The new design enables us to put a spotlight on the incredible content that A&K has built up over 55 years and sourced from clients and our 54 ground offices all around the world.”

Digital web agency Sequence – part of the Inspiretec Group formed by Simon Powell – and enterprise CMS platform Sitecore have worked on the project, with the former spearheading the design and build, and the latter developing a content management system and multi-channel marketing automation software.

Sequence chief executive, Richard Baker, said: “Conveying the luxury of A&K holidays via an online experience was challenging.

“A&K’s reputation was at the forefront of our minds as our aim was to inspire the user throughout their online journey, using impactful imagery and subtle interactions. The launch of the new website is the first step in this exciting partnership.”
