Travel companies are being offered free digital marketing workshop and could win a six-month tailor made campaign.

SEO Travel is still looking for small and medium sized businesses in the sector to apply to take part in the workshop, on July 27, which will include advice from journalist Richard Mellor.

The session will include advice on how to pitch to journalists and create interesting stories around their brand and SEO Travel is targeting everyone from independent tour operators to high street brands.

Applicants for the 20 places at the workshop will be in with the chance of winning a free campaign with SEO Travel.

The workshop will be led by Tom Mcloughlin, SEO Travel’s managing director, who said: “The travel industry is one of the most competitive online and the thought of taking on the big boys can be extremely daunting for smaller, independent specialists.

However, with the right information and plan in place it can be done, so we want to help guide companies on what they need to do.”

“After the workshop attendees should be able to go away and immediately put into action the advice we’re sharing, as well as having a much better level of knowledge that’s needed to pick a partner in future if they wish to bring in outside help.”

SEO Travel also offers a free video course to get the background on digital marketing and the key areas people need to be aware of.
