The company behind an artificial Intelligence app focussed on the travel industry says it has increased sales by 20% at the 15 companies in its test period.

Active OMG’s Ami software, which is fully conversational and self-learning, aims to boost online sales and generate leads for traditional sales staff.

Launched in its beta mode in April 2016, ‘she’ reads her clients’ websites and digests other information she is fed and has 100s of ‘intelligent conversations’ every day with website users.

Active OMG says Ami has increased sales by at least 20% with each of it 15 beta clients.

Jamel a director at Infinity Cruises said: “We find Ami very useful to our business with her ability to learn quickly and help us generate sales.”

Lawrence Turner, founder of Active OMG added: “We see Ami as our child who we are helping to learn how to convert prospects to customers.  She’s only two years old, and we are already proud of her.”

The company, which says the results are as easy to implement as Google Analytics, is on the lookout for new travel industry clients.
