AmaWaterways and APT Travel Group have integrated with cruise booking portal Odysseus.

They join more than 20 cruise lines live on the platform, which acts as a booking and research resource for more than 100 travel companies across the world.

APT Travel Group executive general manager, global sales and marketing, Debra Fox said the integration is of great value to its travel agent partners.

“Having prices, availabilities and in-market offers for all of our cruising inventory on Odysseus gives agents the tools to secure bookings efficiently and quickly,” she said.

Odysseus Solutions president and chief executive Monish Luthra said integrating with APT, which includes Travelmarvel, and AmaWaterways is a “crucial step” for the company.

He added: “These are brilliant companies operating incredible ships on the great rivers of Europe, Africa and Asia – their products are in very high demand and we are proud to be offering them to agents using our platform.”

Founded in 2005, Odysseus is based in Miami, Florida, and is currently planning expansions into new markets with a focus on Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The firm has 55 tech staff  offering 24-hour customer support and also offers air and hotel booking engines and “bespoke” travel technology solutions.
