Travel technology specialist Open Destinations has begun a recruitment drive in the UK as it hopes to maintain 20% annual growth rate.

The London-based developer says it is looking for a wide range of skills from consulting, business analysis and project teams.

Chief executive, Kevin O’Sullivan, said recent expansion, which has seen a 43% rise in international sales over the past two years, has prompted the need to recruit.

“‘We have signed a number of new clients in Europe, North America and the Middle East,” he said. “As our business grows we take on a greater number of complex projects. We look to recruit travel experts with diverse backgrounds in the tour operating and wholesale industries who can understand our clients’ needs first-hand.’

New clients for Open Destinations include luxury travel company Belmond, Australian rail operator Great Southern Rail, education-focused Road Scholar in the US and Destination Asia, a destination management group in Southeast Asia.

O’Sullivan said that the company is on target for continued growth at an average rate of 20% per year. “We will continue to be at the forefront of the travel technology sector and recruit ambitious people to join us,” he added.

Open Destinations will be exhibiting at: Travel Technology Europe – Stand T4 and ITB Berlin – Hall 5.1, booth 108.
